The Zambezi river, tributaries, acacia floodplain and interconnecting wetlands are home to many species of plant and animal life including hippo, elephant, buffalo, impala, sable and roan antelope, eland, nyala, crocodile, black rhinoceros, wild dogs, cheetah and lion.
